No. FoMR is fully funded by SRMIST and does not charge any APC for publication.

Submission & Peer Review Process

FoMR follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

  • Initial editorial screening

Authors must:

  • Address reviewer comments
  • Respond to reviewers
  • Submit a revised manuscript

Yes, a copy of the preprint will be sent to the corresponding author.

Ethical & Authorship Policies

Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts during submission.

For research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive personal data, ethical approval from an Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee is required. The approval document and approval number must be submitted with the manuscript.

FoMR do not encourage any changes to the authorship sequence or author names after manuscript submission. However, in exceptional circumstances, such changes may be considered only if accompanied by a valid and justifiable reason and with the explicit approval of all co-authors. Such requests are ideally expected to be made before the peer-review stage. Written or typed consent, bearing the original signatures of all other authors, is mandatory for any change to be processed.

Yes. Manuscripts can be withdrawn within 10 days of submission or before the commencement of the review process.
